Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about AttendFlow.
AttendFlow is employee attendance and workforce management for employers. Your people check in and out from their own phones, and you see who is at work, who is late, who is absent and how long everyone worked — alongside your organization structure, employee records and leave, in one system.
Yes. Workforce data is scoped to the organization it belongs to, so one organization cannot see or reach another's. Our Trust page sets out how your data is handled.
Yes. Head office has full visibility while each branch sees and manages only its own people. Roles can be scoped to a branch, a department and its sub-departments, or a single team.
Yes — upload a CSV or Excel file. Every row is validated first and problems are reported against the row number in your file, so you fix the spreadsheet rather than a half-imported system. An import can also be undone.
Invite them by email, share a self-enrolment link, print a QR code, or add them manually. They set their own password and keep their contact and emergency details current themselves.
One plan, priced by headcount. You are billed monthly in Malawi Kwacha for the band your register falls into, and you move between bands as you grow. You can prepay several months at once for a discount, which is calculated and shown before you pay. The largest workforces are quoted individually.
Yes. Employees check in and out from it, and can see their own attendance, hours worked and leave, view their employment details, update their contact information and find a colleague in the directory.
Access is controlled by the roles you configure, scoped to a branch, a department or a team. Workforce data is kept separate between organizations, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and significant actions are recorded with who performed them. Our Trust page sets out what is collected, who can reach it and how long it is kept.
They scan a QR code at their work location from their own phone, which is checked against that location's geofence, its allowed hours and whatever verification you have switched on. Where your policy allows it, an authorised person can scan a colleague in, and a manager can record attendance directly — both are attributed to whoever did it.
No. AttendFlow is built around the phones your people already carry, so bringing a new site online means printing a QR code and drawing a geofence rather than buying and wiring a terminal.
Not yet. Working hours, overtime, lateness and leave are all tracked and reported, and you set working days and hours per work location — but building and publishing shift rosters, and running a payroll from the hours, are not part of the product today.
